A native of Lafayette, Indiana, and graduate of Washington University in St.
Louis, I've been painting and illustrating for over 26 years. Eschewing the
narrow and fixed label of illustrator or painter, I see myself as an image maker,
creating illustrations, plein air oil landscapes, digitally-colored woodcuts, and
spontaneous "source" paintings in tempera.

CREATIVITY COACHING
My interest in creativity coaching grew out of my exposure to and interest in the writings of Dr. Eric Maisel,
the founder of creativity coaching. Impressed by the positive changes I experience through my own
self-coaching, I became interested in helping other realize the same.
I've since worked with individual
artists, given presentations, and taught classes in creativity. In April of 2008, after completing a two year
course of study and coaching, I became a certified coach by the Creativity Coaches Association.
